Education is a powerful medium that has the potential to affect the health, livelihood, security, and culture of the students, their parents and the community. There is no other way but for public and private school institutions to be involved in the bigger context, and to take responsibilities beyond academic development.
St. Joseph's Club has been running for nearly 3 years now and in that time we have had over 22 different young people use our training facilities, come along to our training sessions and play for one of our league team. The club also has very strong links to its local community in Ahmedabad and to St. Joseph's High School, Vijapur.
Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spiritually. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins. The great breakthrough in our life comes when we realize it that we can can learn anything we need to learn to accomplish any goal that we set for our self.
Morning Assembly at Hope:
The core purpose of assembly is to bring to life – to articulate and demonstrate – the core values of the school community.Enthusiastic minutes are spared in the morning assembly time every day and students, give the thought for the day as well as the important news of the day and impart some information about educational facts and recent discoveries.
Yoga at Hope:
Yoga is a series of physical and mental exercises. At the physical level, the children utilize various yoga postures or ‘asana’ that aim to keep the body healthy. The mental techniques include breathing exercises or ‘pranayama’ and meditation or ‘dhyana’ are used by them to discipline the mind.
Administrator speaks:
Education is a process of liberation of the mind in such a way that when a student comes out of education he/she is just a clean pure seeker with no discrimination.
In this time when corruption has acquired the roots of our country, we should eliminate the wrong-doings and incorporate the true ideology which makes them bright students of our country.
We, at Hope, nurture a child with knowledge and wisdom. The child will be a tree which grows to yield a fruit in the near future. We call them the “Tree of Hope” which will yield fruit for our society.
